About Us

Tempe Mobility is located at Tempe Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM and Kia in Tempe Arizona. We specialize in providing unique niche mid & full size mobility vehicle options to mobility vehicle dealers throughout the United States. These products have been displayed at the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Conference (NMEDA), the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED), Abilities Expo’s, F.C.A. History

Tempe Mobility was founded in 1997 to support wheelchair accessible vehicle manufactures by providing Dodge and Chrysler minivan chassis for modification. Over the years, Tempe added full-size conversions, import minivan conversions and pre-owned conversion options; in addition to offering financial services and sales support programs for Mobility Vehicle Dealers across the country. This was instrumental in creating access for mobility customers to test drive and purchase modified vehicles onsite and to improve upon the industry’s previous build-to-order sales model.

In 2014, the full size E-Series cargo van platform was discontinued, leaving a void in the full-size wheelchair accessible market. Tempe Mobility identified the RAM ProMaster from Fiat Chrysler Automobile Company (F.C.A.) as an ideal replacement that offered improved fuel economy, passenger comfort, and a reduction in aftermarket alterations.

Working with the design team at Majestic Van Corporation / Majestic Leisure Craft, (majesticvan.com) the TEMPEST mobility van was developed and introduced to Mobility Vehicle Dealers in 2015. Since the TEMPEST inception, product offerings have expanded to include the Ford Transit (TEMPEST XF) and the ProMaster City.
